Therefore I accept. Acceptance is not always agreement, it is letting the wave go around me, over me, past me but not assuming the wave is wrong.
I don't watch TV. The cacophony of twisted values and perceptions is higher there than reality. I enjoy Hulu and Netflix because I can pause, rewind, enjoy, take my time to engage. No commercials. I never watch the news, rarely read the newspaper. Occasionally I read news on the internet but I don't engage it constantly, I take it in small doses.
I trust the world. I trust people. I trust God.
I go to the beach several days a week from march to Nov to enjoy the solitude and stay quiet while there.
I read 500 or so books a year. I eat good food. I don't text much. I don't play on my phone incessantly while traveling. I look at and listen to people.
Sometimes I spend the weekend in silence.
I see everyone as trying their best, even on their missteps.
I trust the future and that everything is unfolding as it should.
