Kyle Phoenix Answers: I suspect my mother is a narcissist. She never listens to music and has never had any interest in it. What does this mean?

People mistake narcissism for being full of ones self, in truth it's a deep psychological emptiness craving filling.

As music is a self, spirit, soul filler I would correlate her inner sense of emptiness to not wanting an external reminder of the disconnect.

Music probably directly points out the emptiness to her so she avoids it. Just as a thought, it's really fascinating.
